Founders of Black-Owned Vegan Burger Brand, New Distribution Deal With Almost 1,000 Publix Stores

Founders of Everything Legendary

Everything Legendary, a Black-owned plant-based burger company, continues to make waves in the food industry. Its founders, Duane "Myko" Cheers, Danita Jones, and Chef Jumoke Jackson, have recently signed a distribution deal to have their products in nearly 1,000 Publix stores nationwide.

According to a recent Instagram post, the brand will now be sold in Publix stores across seven states including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Launched in 2019, the brand gained significant attention after its founders appeared on Shark Tank and sold $250,000 worth of burgers online within 24 hours. However, the founders' motivation goes beyond financial gain. They aim to educate about the benefits of a healthy vegan lifestyle, particularly within the Black community.

With the expansion of Everything Legendary to Publix stores, millions of people will now have access to their delicious and flavor-packed vegan options. The product lineup includes vegan burgers and "Dragon Wyngz," offering a wide range of tasty and healthy alternatives to meat.

Publix, primarily based in the South, is America's largest employee-owned supermarket chain.
