Young Couple Makes History as the First Black Owners of a Business Park in PG County, Maryland

Wyevetra & Jarriel Jordan Sr., a married entrepreneurial couple, have made history after purchasing Fort Washington Professional Park in PG County, Maryland. The Jordans, who have been residents in the area for over 40 years, made the historic purchase in August 2022 and are the business park's first Black owners. They have since renamed it to Fort Washington Business Complex.

The complex currently houses various successful businesses including The Home Team Realty Group LLC, Title House Settlement & Escrow, Jacob’s Ladder Youth Foundation Inc., Adventist HealthCare, GPS Solutions Inc., By Design Interior Styling LLC, and Kristopher’s Village Inc.

Some of these businesses are owned by the Jordans themselves. For example, The Home Team Realty Group LLC, which prides itself on being a community-first brokerage specializing in luxury real estate services, is owned by Wyevetra Jordan.

Also, Title House Settlement & Escrow, a full-service settlement agency, is owned by the Jordan’s daughter, Domanique Bradley.

Also, Jacob’s Ladder Youth Foundation Inc, which faithfully serves the community through educational programming and training, was founded by Jarriel Jordan, Sr. with the mission to educate and reduce the number of juveniles entering and returning to the juvenile justice system.
