Green Toad Hemp Farm, a Black-owned company dedicated to producing the best quality CBD hemp products for holistic health and wellness, has formed a strategic partnership with Manisha Holiday, founder and CEO of The Holiday Firm. The partnership between the two Black-owned companies will create numerous jobs in Atlanta, GA and kick-off an initiative to educate the community about the health benefits of hemp and CBD.
With this historic partnership, Manisha also becomes one of the first Black women to invest in The Green Toad Hemp Farm. As an entrepreneur that has been using her firm for years to promote and build Georgia businesses, she officially became an equity partner in July 2020. "I'm delighted to join forces with another Black-owned business that is revolutionizing the wellness industry with authentic Hemp and CBD solutions," she comments.
From CBD oils and topicals to fiber for clothing, hemp wood, textiles, and more, hemp is an all-world plant with numerous environmental benefits. Manisha will use her public relations platform to drive knowledge and provide more information on how Hemp and CBD offer medical and economic benefits to the community.
The Green Toad Hemp Farm, which is the first and one of the only Black-owned hemp farms in the state of Georgia, was co-founded by Reginald Reese who brought in his 25 years of experience as a retail corporate executive with companies like Walmart and Ross. It was also co-founded by Dwayne Hirsch, an award-winning businessman and small business advocate from Chicago with extensive experience in business development through real estate and consumer packaged goods. Reginald and Dwayne joined forces to build a corporate farming model that began with an empty 17.5-acre patch of land in Metter, Georgia, and is now today a rising force in the multi-billion dollar industry.
Having seen family and friends suffer from illnesses such as high blood pressure, cancer, and autism, Reginald and Dwayne became vested advocates for the benefits of the Hemp industry as a whole.
They hope that this vertically integrated operation based in Metter will be felt in the Metro Atlanta Area and across the country while creating numerous jobs in the city. Through this estimable partnership, Manisha Holiday will be able to drive education within the community encouraging the usage of hemp and CBD for the treatment of a variety of medical conditions.
