The directory currently features hundreds of Black-owned dining options in Los Angeles ranging from fast food, sit down dining, coffee shops, and more.
The newly launched directory features an easily searchable database that allows you to search Black-owned dining options by cooking styles like soul food, cajun, and BBQ; as well as by locations such as Los Angeles, Inglewood, Long Beach, Compton, and Pasadena. The dining listings contain the dining option’s information such as name, address, phone number, and website so that an individual can easily locate a Black-owned dining option near them, or where they’re heading.
LABlackBusinesses.com also has a featured listings section where several Black-owned restaurants can gain additional exposure by being prominently displayed on the website’s home page as well as its own separate page on the website.
In addition, the web site hopes to implement contests, sweepstakes, and other special promotions that will both increase exposure, foot traffic, and eventually, sales; into these Black-owned businesses while also providing the winners of these promotions with prizes that can provide them with the benefit of trying the products and/or services of the business.
