Talibah M. Bayles, Founder & CEO of TMB Tax & Financial Services, has been recognized as one of Birmingham’s top CFOs at the 2020 Birmingham Business Journal’s CFO Awards.
According to the Birmingham Business Journal, “These awards honor CFOs and financial executives who have helped shepherd their company's finances, achieve growth, and positively impacted the company's overall operations. The criteria for consideration are strong financial performance, tangible results, and goals achieved - a key role in the success of the business and community involvement.” The awards ceremony will take place on July 30th at 11:00am CST.
Bayles, a Birmingham native, declares she’s “on a mission to bring genuine solutions for ignored small businesses with airtight financial strategies that enable and maintain growth.” Talibah combined her hands-on experience and vast skill set to develop the Get Bankable™ Program, an innovative system designed to empower clients to successfully sustain and operate their businesses through the financial tools of bookkeeping, payroll, tax planning, filing & compliance, and business credit and financing coaching.
She currently serves on the City of Birmingham’s Inaugural Small Business Council (SBC) where she is the Chair of the Women, Minority-, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Subcommittee. Additionally, she is a member of the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council where she serves on the NSBA’s Taxation and Health & Human Resources Committee.
Bayles was nominated for this award by a client of her tax and financial firm, Titusville Development Corporation (TDC). Founded in 1984, TDC owns and manages over $1.0M in Affordable Senior Housing duplexes developed, built, and managed by the organization. TDC provides supportive services to low to moderate-income Senior Citizens to increase capacity to maintain awareness of their economic capacity.
