Tre'shawn Pittard, an 11-year-old boy from Toledo, Ohio, is successfully running his own lawn and gardening services business. He is a 5th grader at Riverside Elementary in North Toledo but makes time to manage and operate the business after school.
It all started from Tre'shawn's curiosity when he was younger. He once asked his mother's boyfriend if he could cut grass. When he got permission, he began cutting grass in his mother's yard and his neighbors' yards. From there, he expanded his reach and started mowing even the yards of people outside their neighborhood. He also made professional business cards to spread the word about his services.
For Tre'shawn, cutting grass is not just work but also a way to calm himself. He said he is always focused on achieving his goal.
"I just have to get this yard perfect," he told WTOL.
As for the future, Tre'shawn is looking to add more services for other seasons such as leaf and snow removal.
