Limited first run will be sold in commemorative packaging celebrating the achievement

Sean and Tia Edwards, founders of Fresh Bourbon Distilling Co.

Sean and Tia Edwards, founders of Fresh Bourbon Distilling Co., proudly announce the opening of pre-orders for their limited first release, expected to ship late 2020 or early 2021.
This release will mark the first Bourbon developed fully grain-to-glass in Kentucky by African Americans. The Bourbon is crafted to have a rich and sweet flavor profile to appeal not just to Bourbon enthusiasts but to all drinkers. This historic first release will have options available including a presentation in a celebratory commemorative package with our signature rocks glass and a branded shirt.

As Kentucky natives and African American entrepreneurs, Sean and Tia registered the company in 2017 and immediately began work on crafting unique Bourbons, whiskeys, and other spirits as well as opening a distillery. In February 2020, the Kentucky Senate honored Sean and Tia Edwards and acknowledged The Fresh Bourbon Distilling Company as being the first Black-owned distillery in Kentucky.

“For nearly three years, we have been diligently developing an authentic and unique Bourbon and spirits line. We chose not to buy Bourbon from someone else and just place our name on a bottle. We have been very intentional and deliberate in crafting our spirits - from the mash bills up,” stated Sean Edwards.

During the construction process of their new 34,000 square feet distillery in Lexington, KY, Fresh Bourbon’s proprietary recipe is being produced under contract through Hartfield & Co. Distillery in Paris, KY using only the highest quality ingredients to produce the ultra-premium beverage.

Pre-order will be available through September 30th, 2020 at
