Blasian Collections is the newest line of apparel that celebrates Black culture while also keeping its customers safe during the pandemic. Launched in 2020 by fashion designer Jasmine Lee, her trendy Ankara-print accessories include washable face masks for men and women with matching neckties, headbands, and head wraps.
The pandemic has produced a lot of creativity as women all over the world have begun to sew and create their own face masks, but Lee's creativity makes her the first to truly blend culture with safety. She's also the first to create colorful, African-print face masks with matching neckties that complement modern professional menswear.
Lee says that all of her products are handcrafted and made-to-order so that her clients can choose their own fabric from her shop. She also says that she uses 100% cotton, making all of her products reusable and machine washable.
