Black-Owned Start-Up Helps Low Income Customers Get Affordable Car Deals

Founders of PTG 365

Three millennial Black entrepreneurs, Brandon Medford, Dave Obaseki, and Eric Whitehead, have combined their passion for cars and their will to help their customers, including single mothers, get their dream car in launching their automotive company, PTG365. With that formula, their company gained over $1.2 million revenue within just one year in the business!
Getting started

The trio, who collectively have more than 10 years experience in the automobile industry, started PTG365 over a year ago. Since then, they have expanded their services to offer credit repair, credit restoration, luxury car rentals, new and pre-owned car sales, insurance assistance, among others.

Living up to their brand name which means "Prices Too Good" all "365 days a year," they offer some of the lowest prices compared to other dealerships.

"We have contracts with multiple manufacturers and multiple dealerships throughout the country, so the pricing that we get is a couple of thousand below of what the dealership owns the car for," Medford told Rolling Out. "We're able to get our price very low and still give the customer a great price, which is less than average pricing and still be able to make a profit at the same time."

Perfect for single moms

What makes them even more unique is their strong drive to assist their clients in getting their dream car no matter the credit score or income, which is perfect for single moms who need affordable yet reliable transportation for them and their children.

"Helping single mothers get into vehicles gave us a different kind of satisfaction," Obaseki said in an interview with xoNecole. "The reason being, single mothers go through a lot of turmoil and need as much help as possible."

Because of their competitive pricing, quick turnaround time, connection with several car manufacturers and banks, and great customer service, they also gained high-end clientele who desire luxury cars.

They also help high-end clients

"In addition to the mothers, we have many entertainers and athletes we've assisted with credit repair as well," Whitehead told xoNecole. "Just because you're a celebrity doesn't mean you're knowledgeable on credit and wealth management."

PTG365, a New York-based company, has expanded to Los Angeles, Miami, and Atlanta. The trio hopes to build even more offices nationwide and also establish body shops, restaurants, and real estate businesses in the near future.
