Mark your calendars for July 31 to August 1, 2014, for the annual National Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Conference in Washington, D.C. Thousands of minority-owned companies across the country will be attending.
The MED Conference offers an opportunity for minority business owners to gather every year to connect with other minority business owners. Networking, learning sessions, workshops and other events help minority-owned businesses learn how to grow.
Many different industries are represented at the annual event, as well as multinational corporations, representatives from government and other entrepreneurs. Attendees will learn how to expand and grow their businesses and develop partnerships that will help their businesses expand into national and international markets.
The Minority Business Development Agency is a function of the U.S. Department of Commerce. It's the only Federal agency that focuses entirely on supporting the growth of minority-owned businesses.
