Black Woman Appointed as New Publicist of Southeast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences

The Southeast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS SE) is proud to announce the appointment of Raquel Riley Thomas, the esteemed African American founder of An Officer and Gentlewoman, LLC, as its new Publicist.

Raquel Riley Thomas (Captain, U.S. Army, Veteran) has over 30 years of media expertise and has made an indelible mark in the Beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle, Celebrity, and Music Industry. A decorated Veteran, Raquel has received numerous accolades, including an induction into the Library of Congress.

Raquel is the visionary founder of An Officer and GentleWoman, LLC (AOAGWLLC), a distinguished media and entertainment company renowned for delivering white-glove service to its clients. AOAGWLLC excels in Public Relations, Talent Management, Brand Management, and Production services. Headquartered in Washington, DC, with additional locations in Atlanta, GA, and satellite offices in New York and Los Angeles, the company has garnered over 75 awards. Its clients have been featured in more than 2,500 appearances across print media, television, in-person events, and radio/podcasts.
